Meal packs from the Kitchen

Fresh meals made on site in The Kitchen, finished by you in The Barn

On Cockatoo Lane is a private and somewhat remote stay. There are no cafes or restaurants within easy walking distance. Discover the convenience of our meal packs. As a guest, you can select from our exclusive menus and indulge in a selection of meals prepared by the chef/owners, ready for you in the fridge upon arrival or dropped off fresh each day. Enjoy the ease of finishing off these delicious dishes at your leisure. Let us take care of the hard work so you can focus on relaxation and enjoyment.

At On Cockatoo Lane the food philosophy is simple. Take great local produce, use what is in season (most of our vegetables are grown onsite, so fresh you might see me picking from The Garden). These packs are prepared from scratch. There's no cut corners here. Stocks, soups, sauces, bases, it all starts right here from the best basics.

Proudly supporting local producers with a focus on sustainability and the ethical treatment of animals.

The Meal Pack Ordering Process

  • Once I have received your booking I will send you some menus. If your booking falls a season ahead I will update you with an up to date one two weeks prior to your stay.

  • One week before I'll ask you if you would like to order anything and which days you want them. Preorders give me time to source all my ingredients and start preparing.

  • 2 days before your stay I will send a request for payment.

  • When you check in, your meals for that day will be in the fridge. Any additional meals I can drop off to you at an agreed time or you can pick up from me in The Kitchen or I can drop off to The Barn fridge while you are out.

Menus are updated each season.
